Adam Barsby was born in Leicester in 1969. After graduating with a first class honours degree in illustration, be began his professional career as a freelance editorial illustrator.

His introduction to the world of fine art came when he began working in several well known London galleries. He created a style unique in the art world. His distinctive style developed out of his love of folklore and fairy stories.

Today he lives in the West Midlands where he also lectures in fine art, graphics and illustration for students wishing to undertake a career in Art and Design.
