Claire Brierley was born in Stratford–upon–Avon in 1968 and has worked locally painting figurines for the last 15 years, whilst spending her spare time concentrating on her own paintings.

With a large imagination and a love of bold colour and shape, her acrylic paintings take on a naïve and quirky quality.

Starting out just painting for family and friends, she recently began taking commissions and also designs greeting cards using photographic reproductions of her work.
